Prior to joining Skolkovo Foundation in October 2013 as Head of Medical Devices and Healthcare IT foresight, Ruslan was a Business Development Executive at ChemRar High-Tech Center – a pharma, medical technologies and biotechnology conglomerate built in Russia by highly innovative life science R&D organizations, where he also was responsible for the development of Medical Device & Diagnostics and Healthcare IT projects.
Ruslan began his career with Johnson & Johnson Medical where he participated in launching of diabetes care business in Russia in 1994. Thereafter, he went on to hold several sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibility, including National Sales Manager and Business Development Manager for Spine and Neuro implantable devices. During the period of 2004-2008 Ruslan worked as a Sales & Marketing Director for LifeFactor / Bayer Biological providing lifesaving plasma-derived products for hematology. In 2008 Ruslan moved to Medtronic and led Neuro implantable devices division in Russia.
Ruslan holds a Master’s degree from Moscow State Civil Engineering University and MBA from Stockholm School of Economics.
