Sergey Korotkov

Sergey Korotkov is a gradute of Bauman Moscow State Technical University (1981) and All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (1990). Since 1990, he has been working as an expert of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of USSR. In this capacity, he undertook long-term assignments abroad in Jamaica and Brazil, where he was in charge of trade and economic cooperation. In 2003 he became project coordinator at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) working on technology transfer in the field of airborne geophysical surveys of natural resources in the Parnaiba basin, Brazil. Since 2005, he has been serving as Director of the UNIDO Centre for for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation. The Director coordinates a number of UNIDO projects related to industrial development of the regions and subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as projects in the CIS and BRICS countries. He also supervises the activities of the Center aimed at finding Russian and foreign partners and investors for the implementation of major national projects.
