Zach Latta is the founder of Hack Club, a nonprofit network of coding clubs building the best way to become a hacker. It is now in 2% of US high schools and has doubled its reach every year since launching in 2016.
In high school he helped develop Football Heroes, a popular arcade football game. After his freshman year, he dropped out and moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco to become the first engineer at Yo, a silly messaging app.
After leaving Yo, he was included in a profile in the California Sunday magazine. He was awarded the Thiel Fellowship he was 17, the youngest in his class, and was later included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list when he was 18 for his work with Hack Club.
